How to tell when radio is overmonopolized & full of suck
No joke, Total eclipse of the heart on the Lex station, I say yuck & flip the dial to the next station and it the same nasty 80's song is just starting. I looked in my rearview and expected the Apocalyptic Horsemen.....

Home again
Had a great visit to Clearwater FL & San Antonio TX.
Saw Mom & Dad, splashed in the ocean and got sunburned together. Clearwater is magnificent and we have decided that we could return.
Saw many good friends in Texas, it was interesting to see how things have changed as well.
Much more to say, too tired right now. -

Tired of Hospitals
Spent the day at the hospital with Bud today.
The surgery took about double the time because the damage was worse than the surgeon thought and it took him longer and he had to go through a ligament and probably a number of other things to make you feel squeamish.
Because of the anticipated level of pain, the doctor recommended that he spend the night ( Read more... ) -

I read a book yesterday, Vinegar Hill by A. Manette Ansay - it was a really good, quick read.
I also recently read a 'chica lit' book called Divas Don't Yield by Sofia Quintero. Another good one.
Next I'm tackling Isabel Allende - Forest of the Pygmies. I'll let you know how it goes.

Bye Bye Summertime (Please?)
I'm tired of it being SO hot all the time. It has been too hot to drive the Miata with the top down. I'm wanting to have more clothes choices for work. I have like 4 summer weight tops for work and I'm getting tired of wearing them over & over ( Read more... )
