pulling my hair out: a tale of the never-ending to-do list
It's me again! I seem to post more when I have a lot to do. Years and years of school made me an expert in the art of procrastination.

Well, I just re-did my resume for what feels like the 1,000th time. I can't even bring myself to look at the jobs listed on Craigslist. It just makes me feel overwhelmed and like I'm doomed to fail. Really, it's hard to motivate myself to do anything because it feels like such a huge and daunting task that feels like rolling a boulder uphill ( Read more... ) -
long-winded
I started writing an entry a while ago, while I was procrastinating and not writing final papers. In it, I mentioned LJ Aqua, which is a pretty neat LJ lab that displays the subjects of people's public LJ entries as they are posted. October
is usually one of my favorite months. I love feeling summer drift away into fall. I love that so many of my close friends have birthdays this month. I love those candy Halloween pumpkins. I love the pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks (I've done well, I've only had that one I wrote about a while ago!) I love Halloween costumes and celebrations ( Read more... ) -
the Santa Rosa life
After having stayed with my parents through this weekend, I want to run away. Far, far, far away and not come back. Staying with my parents and dealing with my family makes me extremely grateful that I live in Sacramento and am not often expected to come back here.
