Man, I love kids! That was an awesome game and they were so into it! I love the way kids do that, just go with things.
I used to look after two little boys when I was in uni, and we used to pay games like this. They always wanted to be firemen or sailors and we would turn their beds into boats and fight pirates by feeding them 'sleepy soup' then locking them in the hold until we could get to land and put them in jail. They would get so excited about every game and like Gordon they would add in their own special details and make it all real.
I can't wait to play like this with Orlaith!

sleepy soup! i love it :) the imagination is a most beautiful and amazing thing, especially when it's done in the collaborative spirit :)

sleepy soup was me trying to find a non-violent way we could get rid of pirates! i hate playing shooting games with kids.

i love the way you play with the little ones and the ways you find to get around bad moods and tempers! very creative.

ah, it was a very good idea. i refuse to play shooting games. gordon got such power out of the mere fact that his body was fighting a stomach virus... they don't need any help with the appeal of those games, but creative alternatives :)
