Eric Stoltz is so yummy. Mmmmm....

Mentally filing away a recommendation to rent In America sometime. I saw a preview for that and was intrigued, but had since forgotten all about it. Sounds good!

It was very good! It's still in the theatres, but it's a small release, so it should be out soon. Ha! I'm discovering that you're a film nut, too ;)

i love finding other banana fans! :) 'in america' is still in theatres, but it's a limited release - probably more likely to find it in the arthouse-type movie theatre. definitely worth seeing, though!

I love Samantha Norton. I'm glad you enjoyed "In America" - I'm eager to see it. I saw "House of Mirth" in the theatre, I love periiod films and the stars of that film as well. A lovely film.

I remember reading Banana's "Kitchen" at a strange point in my life, and I will always love her for cheering me up so much. She's a joy.

It's nice to hear that you are surrounded by some nourishing entertainment, hopefully it is helping you to refuel before you must go back to work :)

'house of mirth' was lovely. you should definitely make the effort to see 'in america'. it was very touching.

i loved 'kitchen', and have given numerous copies away to friends (including seasoulsky :) ). 'kitchen' is possibly my favorite work of hers, but each of her books is like a treasure. right now, i'm reading 'goodbye tsugumi'.

all of this entertainment is definitely helping me refuel. well put. :)
