And drinking is merely a short term solution (plus, I worry about what your liver thinks about it).
All I can say at this point is to be confident in yourself, and take it slow with someone.

I know it's a short term solution that's all I have intended it to be. I'm not one that normally drinks my problems away..I normally drink because I enjoy the taste of beer so no worries, really. This post was just to get some bitterness out and I do plan to take it slow with someone if I ever happen to meet anyone again...that confidence part a little harder to come by but I am working on it. Thanks though for the advice. Being female, I am by nature not too bright when it comes to emotional things and sometimes I just need to be reminded simple things like being confident and taking things slow.

I don't know; most of the females that I have known have been brighter and stronger emotionally than I ever have been.
