Lessons I learned from writing the Maybe-a-Novel yesterday:

1. Never pass up an opportunity to use the verb "to probe."

2. I'm thinking of opossums. But pangolins are cuter.

Duuuude. Oh my fucking god. That's insane. And also really, really cute, I totally agree. It's like a pinecone! Aww!!!

And it's called The Chambers of the Sea.

So I take it this is a different novel from the one I've read parts of? :)

Heh. Reminds me of a project Peck was working on. Two of the characters were talking about sex, and he used "ejaculated" instead of "said" when one of them said something suddenly. If you listen closely, you could almost hear the rimshot in the distance.
