Mika doggie is BACK! :D She is her old inquisitive self, and we're back on our walking schedule, too! She is eating her two meals a day eagerly (rice, kibble, tablespoon of canned dog food mixed in warm water with her meds). They have her a different antibiotic that I had to pick up yesterday, saying our regular vet said the one they had given her

congratulations...
It's good to hear your little girl is feeling better and you two are dancing together... I understand. I learned to walk Dewey that way. Then I learned to keep his head at my knee so we were always together. Never letting him run ahead. Also I would always walk threw the door, gate or path before him never after, because I am ALPHA and he should follow me.

Good luck. A dog that can stop, stays in heal, sit and stay is a happier dog. They need their pack and we are the leaders.

I've been watching this show on the National Geographic channel. Heard about Cesar Millan Cesar Millan, and his work with dogs with behavior problems, i.e., work with HUMANS with behavior problems in not being pack leader, LOL! :D He always makes dogs walk just behind him, head at knee and no further forward, and stays to always go in doorways ahead, as you wrote...

Interesting man.
