When it comes to batshit insane plots, early fiction about homosexuality has you beaten hands down. Allow me to demonstrate. Strangers summarises a 1901 novel, Weiberbeute, as follows:

a frustrated lesbian hypnotizes her girlish stepson into thinking himself a woman. She then induces a phantom pregnancy in him, fosters her own son on him and ( Read more... )

Really? People say that? *blushes!!!* :D My fics mostly live at etchedinclouds, in fact; I think I may have removed the various links to it from this journal and forgotten to replace them. But when I make public posts anyone is welcome to talk to me, anyway; no worries about boundaries. *g*

Yeah. It made me laugh like an idiot. Had to share!

\o/!!! Ahaha, that's almost embarrassing; I did leave the fic posts on this journal public because I knew there were some links referring back to them but it's all the reeeeally old stuff! It feels very long-ago-and-distant and I definitely think my writing has improved a lot since those days. *laughs* I started posting to etchedinclouds instead of to my personal journal back in early 2006 so there's a good three years of fic over there which just doesn't exist here.

Shall sit and flail quietly in a corner. *g* I never expect anyone to remember who I am. >>
