I think I understand what you're talking about, and, if not, then forgive me, I am brain-dead :)
If it's about Giselle and ANY, then I know what you're talking about. It's not normal for people that consider themselves 'normal', but it's normal for us... I still remember the Risen Horizon and it's sequel - Spread Wings. I still remember some minor details, and I am still nostalgic when I start thinking about this RP which was, is and will stay the best one I've ever had, because it was too special.
You know, there's this 'bond' with a character, it's like playing a character on stage, I guess, even though I've never done it. But this bond is quite strong, and when it has to be cut, it hurts. I know how much it does.
But it'll fade away with time. At first I used to cry 'cause my favourite RP came to its end. Now, when I remember it, I am simply sad and nostalgic. But these feelings do fade with time.
Yes, most of it is about Giselle :) It feels weird and odd and empty and I cry at the most random times (yesterday morning in the car with my parents when Jewel with Foolish Games (my any song) was on) she was the only char that meant THAT much and eventhough I liked the way she went it still feels odd to know she won't be coming back :p but as you say, and you're the pro :), it'll pass in a certain way somewhen :)
I know exactly what its like to loose a character. Not that mine is dead (because the rp she was in was complicated and alot different from any)... when i stopped being able to be her, I went through a stage of confusion and frustration. Youre lucky in the respect you got to choose to kill off the character and end it in your own way. Crystal was cut off from me without warning and with alot of harsh words and upsetting circumstances, I guess. Its all a long long story. Since I was nine years old ive imagined her in stories and such and its changed alot in all this time.. but shes still there

Weet je meid.. ik ben blij dat je dit op jouw manier hebt aangepakt. Want ik denk dat je er zo veel gemakkelijker vrede mee vind? Ik hoop het in ieder geval.. Yes ik ben ook blij dat ik het gedaan heb zo als het voor mij het beste voelde, ook al is het een four-people rp dan nog moet je af en toe wel iets voor jezelf doen :) maar dat weten we allemaal wel denk ik :) *knuffel*
