I love how you straddle the line between in and out of theatre, even while being out of Iraq completely.
This is so quiet and atmospheric and deep like water and fits the song so well.
And this:
Nate’s not fighting a war anymore, as a Marine or otherwise
totally struck me, right through. At midnight and now. You are so talented, girl. ♥

I really wanted to get the sense of the song without being blatant or throwing lyrics in there or whatever. If that worked, a feeling of emulation of the song, then I feel successful.
You are so awesome, and I CAN'T WAIT for the rest of this challenge to vindicate your awesomeness. BRING ON THE STORIES! ♥

The nights are getting longer and the cold is getting deeper. Nate thinks about visiting Brad, but somehow he never makes it to buying a plane ticket.
Nate. Nate, Nate, Nate. ):
& Ray having a cookout at Brad's place without Brad's permission, but it's not like Brad killed him for it. Brad & Ray BFFdom. \o/
I love everything about this. I would go on but really I would just quote everything back at you and flail, so I'mma stop myself and just say that this was brilliant. <3

It took Nate long enough to come to his senses, but I am so glad that he did!
