glad to see a little activity here...hello! as far as vital stats...i'm 22 years old, and bi. i don't live in st. louis yet (i'm in chicago for the time being), but i'm moving there in august to attend law school at wash u. i joined this community so i can get a head start in figuring out the queer "scene" in st. louis...what there is to do,

woo! I work at the law school! there's a glbtqa group in the law school (outlaw) but it is woefully under-active (although I am friends with the people who run it, and it's not their fault it's inactive). there are quite a few other active groups on campus, and you would be welcome at them although they are primarily composed of undergrads.

in terms of general st. louis stuff, i dunno - there are some bars (depending on your flavor preferences - pynk, novak's, faces, magnolia's...), some coffee places (mokabe's, cartel, grind), pride in june (commercialized crap though it is), some talk of starting a community-wide glbtqa resource center...i'm sure other people will hit other things.

Yeah, there just isn't a lot to do in STL period. The central west end is where it's at, fun place, good food, cool stores etc. At wash u there are a lot of groups you can join so it won't be hard meeting ppl at all.
