When they were pulled from their classes and brought to the principal's office, it was Kurt who first realized something was wrong, but Brittany was the first to speak

with all due respect, the fact that he's been sexually traumatized doesn't mean he can't be harmful :( in fact, in some ways it makes it more likely that he might be
not all abuse victims abuse others, but a very high percentage of abusers were once abused themselves :(
though in this situation, I have to kind of feel like brittany and kurt are probably on close to equal footing when it comes to really knowing what they're doing, intent, etc... i don't think they should be allowed to continue this because it could be harmful, but neither one is really "hurting" the other

Maybe I watch too much Law and Order and therefore sympathize with the victim (Kurt).
It's also not Kurt's fault that he was abused.
What I'm trying to say is that maybe Santana "turned-in" Kurt in order for something better for her/worse for Kurt to occur. Also, with everything I said in my first comment, I meant that Santana doesn't know the full circumstances as to why Kurt acts the way he does. So, for all we know, Santana could be doing this for her benefit and not for Kurt's.
Besides, Brittany was the first (I don't want to say 'friend', but I will) friend that didn't do anything harmful to Kurt. She seems to get along with Kurt.
But the concern for Kurt relapsing and abusing others is a very valid concern.
Sorry if none of this is making sense. I'm trying to look at every side and make sense of it all.

I'll go ahead and just say that Santana turned them in for both of their benefit, though more for Brittany than for Kurt. I'm going to try to tackle why did in some of the next parts.

Perfectly said and exactly what I was trying to get across. The parents in this situation are trying to protect their own child from harm, and it would be kind of hard in this case, I think, to really pinpoint how much consent has been given on either side, though I definitely see them on about equal footing.

Kurt didn’t come back. At his age, he didn't have to, legally, so Burt kept him home. Carole had to quit her job to stay with him, which put a bit of strain on their finances, but they would pull through. The shop was doing good and they had money saved in the bank. Christmas was nearing, though, which was always a time when things were tight, especially now that Burt had two teenage boys to shop for-well, Carole would do the actual shopping
