Kurt's spying on the Warblers doesn't go so well Triggers: Violence

The Warblers don't find Kurt's spying at all endearing and they DO beat him up for it. He uses concealer on the bruises in the evening and morning and tells Burt he had a bad fall in Glee to explain his limping but washes the concealer off at school. From now on, if he has to get bruised they have to see the bruises

If it weren't that Kurt were all too familiar with the sensation of well-aimed punches and kicks, he'd have sworn it was some insane dream. The friendly boy who grabbed his hand as though he couldn't actually catch the gay from him, the way that he kept making eye contact through the performance of Teenage Dream and making Kurt even think that he was singing directly to him, that was the good part of the dream

″So he did what to you?″
″He dropped me and I fell. But it wasn't his fault, the door banged open suddenly, it made everybody jump.″ Concealer and strategic distance kept his dad from noticing the damage to his face. ″It was just one of those freak choreography accidents. It'll be fine, dad, we all agreed not to try that kind of routine again.″
Kurt's dad was looking at him as though he wasn't entirely satisfied but wasn't quite sure why. ″Well, just keep icing it and if it doesn't feel better tomorrow, we're going to get you x-rayed.″
Hell to the no, Kurt mentally quoted Mercedes. No doctor would see all the other bruises and not start asking his dad some questions, either about who else was beating up his son or about why he was abusing his son himself

Kurt carefully put his concealer on in the SUV. Looking in them mirror, he thought he saw Karofsky watching him and pulled out of the parking lot. When he got home, his dad was already there and raising an eyebrow at him. ″You got flowers. They're on the kitchen table

Thanks so much!
For this, the Warblers and Blaine got right down to finding out that he was a spy and punishing him according to the rules, not stopping to talk and find out about his past.
Next parts will have more of their thoughts, hope you like it, and hope you had a Merry Christmas, too!

That's exactly where I was heading with this--Kurt's feeling so rejected that any sign of somebody making a big gesture of apology like the flowers and note, along with Blaine's saying that he's gay by referencing being gay-bashed, would make further contact almost impossible to resist.
″Oh, hell to the no, white boy, you are not even thinking about going!″ Mercedes' voice made half the school cafeteria turn to look, and that was over the football team chanting something macho, somebody in the kitchen (though he hated to call that particular gate to Hell a kitchen) apparently throwing things, and the slushie machine going.
″Why not? It'd be a change to hear somebody apologize and...″
″And what? If you're going to tell me that it's because he's cute, I am not going to be happy.″
He fiddled with his sandwich. ″I just...sometimes I want somebody like me to talk to.″ He could see that he'd hurt her feelings and hurried, ″I mean somebody who's gay, somebody else who's out and...″
She took his uninjured hand and looked at him with those gorgeous eyes of hers. If she had been a gay boy... ″Yeah, I understand, I guess, but boo, you shouldn't have to put up with somebody who beat you up.″
″Sweetie, pretty much every guy my age who hasn't been physically aggressive or verbally abusive either hasn't noticed me yet,

First of all: I'm so glad to see you update! I've been hoping this fill would be continued! :D
Second of all: When Kurt came back, Blaine had gotten up again, making Kurt wonder if he were some kind of Victorian gentleman in a cardigan who hadn't yet figured out socks.

Kurt found that he was rather enjoying Blaine's discomfort during the next silence. It wasn't often that Kurt had this much control in a conversation and it was a heady experience. He kept looking at Kurt's face or his hand and wrist on the table and kept looking away, awkwardly. Finally, he saw the Vogue sticking out of Kurt's bag and leaned forward eagerly. “Can you believe that they actually put Andrej Pejic on the cover

I would like to see what Blaine and the other Warblers were thinking, especially after finding out about Kurt's past.
Merry Christmas!

I'm really enjoying this. I also like that Mercedes knows what's going on with Kurt. It's refreshing. XD
