Then one day, his father comes home in a fit of drunken rage and heads up to Blaine's room. After a few initial punches he turns to Blaine's well loved instruments. He smashes Blaine's guitar, violin, and keyboard leaving Blaine sitting among the shattered remains.
It's the last straw for Blaine who calls up Wes, David or Kurt in hysterics, sobbing out everything.

It’s repulsive the way he can shamelessly present himself like this to me. The way he tries to beat me down with his words and his fists whilst covered in his own filth.
