Kurt is walking to the senior commons, ready to sing his solo. Then he runs in to Blaine, who, judging by his outfit, is spying on Dalton from another school.

Basically, a character swap. Blaine is Burt's son and Finn's soon-to-be stepbrother. Kurt transferred to Dalton after getting beat up at his old school.

Bonus if:
The Warblers tease Kurt about liking Blaine.
They can tell Blaine likes him back. Kurt is oblivious.
Blaine transfers just like canon!Kurt.
Mom Anderson is supportive, but Dad Anderson doesn't understand.
(If Dad Anderson has a change of mind at some point, I will love you forever.)

I was excited from the moment I read the prompt, but it was Kurt's advice that had me sold. I love the way you manage to keep them both perfectly in-character while still allowing for the change of circumstance, and Kurt's advice for Blaine to keep his head down rang true especially. So did the fact that he's helpful and caring, but still a little cold, and that he clearly doesn't like opening up about himself. I can't wait to learn more about Kurt's experience at Dalton, and Blaine's at McKinley, especially with the change in their home lives.

Thank you so much! I am really setting out for this not to be just another S2 rewrite, so I'm glad I'm managing that so far. :)

I have a lot of Kurt Anderson feelings, so you will definitely be hearing more about Dalton!Kurt.

“Oh, okay.” Blaine passes over his phone, and Kurt does the same with his iPhone.

He feels a little nosy scrolling through Blaine’s contacts, but that doesn’t seem to stop him from doing it. He sees a listing for Blaine’s father, along with the names Rachel Berry and Brittany Pierce. He tries to keep scrolling, but the list stops there.

Kurt wonders if McKinley is lonelier for Blaine than he originally thought.

“Here.” He hands the phone back to Blaine. “You can call me whenever, but if I’m in class it might take me a little while to respond.” He takes his phone back from Blaine, and finds himself unable to keep the smile off his face at the addition of Blaine Hummel :) to his contacts. “Or you could always text. I’m kind of amazing at discrete classroom texting ( ... )

Dalton might as well have been a dream. The only way Blaine is going to believe any of it actually happened is if the boys in the blazers show up to their sectionals to crush them ( ... )

im curious to see how karofsky fits into blaine's life, mostly if he's attracted to him like he was with kurt, or rather just an average mckinely bully to him.

asldkjf I didn't realize there was more when I commented on part 3 because I wasn't initially logged in.

I can't wait to see where this goes and I'm so nervous for Blaine now!

Uh-oh Blaine's boxing after hours doesn't seem like the safest option. I'm worried for my cupcake baby Blaine!

I'm squiggly with excitement for this fill though!
