What do you think about the proposal of Rachel & Finn, in terms of reality? (If you can actually do that?)
Funny enough, I could actually see Quinn/Finn together after high school - if you exclude the fact of it being an unhealthy relationship. Even if they had gone to college -- it was likely to be instate, potentially, and being married after isn't completely unrealistic. Especially with the story that Quinn made in 2x16.
But Rachel & Finn? With the move being New York, presumably? With Rachel's aspirations, her likeliness of putting her career and study ahead of a relationship - not intentionally, but NYADA is certainly going to have some late nights if she attempts to work on a production- and Finn's personality and potentially, struggling to adapt to a bigger city without home support?
I'm not saying that it wouldn't work -- hell, it could, but I can't help thinking that out of all the couples to be engaged at ( ... )

In terms of the show, it's a show about teenagers and usually, on tv, most of the couples in high school end up together forever.

Sugar/Artie/Rory is cute, Finchel remain believable idiots, and double standards are addressed. Nice.
It just keeps getting better.

Rachel will seriously never be happy in a relationship where she has to treat her partner as an equal. She wants a doormat to earn her money, not a husband.
Santana trying to prove the double standard fell flat when they didn't sing on the school grounds.
I didn't find Rachel's dads endearing at all. They were horrible and manipulative and drew Burt and Carole into their mindgames instead of sitting the kids down and actually listening to their reasons. If they did that, maybe they'd finally have to pay attention to how broken and scared their children are instead of continuing to ignore it.

-grumbles about realism-
....Is the first half even worth watching? Because the second half has had to suck worse than any other episode I can ever think of.
(Annoyingly, I believe I can fly, done on it's own, possibly like Man in the Mirror type of style or something close to it, would have been powerful. Y/N?)
