Finn grumbled to himself as he adjusting his winter coat, taking an extra moment to get his zipper over the protruding baby bump. Inwardly he was griping at the concerns his boyfriend and brother had expressed when the had checked in on the phone earlier that morning. He was having a kid, he wasn't one himself; he could handle himself.

After all it was just a little snow, and he was just out to get some toilet paper. Toilet paper he wouldn't of had to have worried about if somebody had actually read the grocery list ( ... )

“Nope. Bad position, bad position. Ow, ow, ow. Not good.” Nick muttered as he sat up on the bed trying to get into a better position. He tried sitting up straight, no. He tried having his legs dangling over the edge and being curled over, no. Nick couldn’t help but think this would be easier with another person. He then tried to sit the head of the bed upright and turn himself around so he was kneeling on the bed with his arms against the head of the bed so he had something to lean on. He got the bed up so it was almost 90 degrees and was trying to turn around when he was about half of the way around when he had another contraction. Nick gripped the sheets for support as he was almost about to tumble off the bed. He let out a moan as he heard the door open and someone walk inside. As Nick was facing away from the doorway he couldn’t see the person entering but just assumed it was the midwife again ( ... )
