I kind of like that silly song they use to advertise the Ipod nanos

"I tried to do handstands for you, I tried to do it all for YOooouuuooouuuuu!"

"Bruises" by Chairlift. I bought the album. It's pretty good overall. Oh, fantastically twee, such that I occasionally go into insulin shock after listening to it, but it is terribly catchy.

It's also on my downloadable xmas mix!

yeah so get this, I might miss the deadline now cause my committee is out of town: one guy is gone feb 14-march 3, and one guy is gone the first week in march, and one guy doesn't work here on mondays (he's in NY), and one guy isn't avail march 10 so maybe I can schedule for march11-13 but if not I'm screwed and don't get to walk in may :(
the registrar is checking if I can hand in the thesis and defend after but we're not sure if that is possible.

well it's not like that's all they have to do, they're busy folks. This always happens to me when I'm trying to schedule something, Anton is going to try and see if he can get some of them to switch meetings around and things to make it work. But yeah if we can't get it to work out then I'm screwed just cause I can't get 5 people in a room at the same time. FAIL.

that song will make justin, my mom, and his dad's heads explode. when we were in vegas, there was this huge tv billboard that played that video over and over. but just a few lines and then the commercial would start again. in a loop. we were waiting for the others to come back with tickets for a show so we sat there, under that sign, under that song, for over an hour.

they still talk about the ordeal.

I know what you mean... the song in that commercial with the little boy who wears the white hat floors me every time it comes on. "Imaginary Girl this is a song for you..." SWOON.
