I KNOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!! Don't they know my sister was SITTING RIGHT THERE?!?!? SHE WAS ALL "WHAT? DO PEOPLE REALLY DO THAT?!?" I just covered my eyes with my hands.
It really, really isn't! I was just thinking that as I wrote a big old navel-gazing post about the commentary and mocking of fandom. What other show does that? I mean, I haven't watched much, but I've never seen something like this before. It sort of reminds me of Moonlighting in a strange way, sometimes.
Well, Kripke kicked the shit out of the fourth wall, I'd say. Erin said she felt like she was watching Jared and Jensen instead of Sam and Dean at the beginning, and I could sort of see her point.
The episode last night found Sam & Dean discovering a series of pulp novels called "Supernatural" about two guys named Sam & Dean who hunt ghosts and demons and whatnot. It was very meta not only about Sam & Dean, and about the show and the writers, but also about fans

I do note the irony that some of the people who feel the most insulted are the very sorts of fans who are most guilty of wackiness. Other people are just really uncomfortable with this "secret" society being exposed to the world at large in such a loud and blatant way

Are the ones who are in an uproar the same ones that ask stupid questions about what was brought up in the ep? Or do you know?
How did the boys react to the Wincest?
Was the tattoo based on an actual fan?
