I've started over so many times. As exciting as things can be through centrifugal change, other things have lost their flavor altogether. Love letters have become one of those ever-dulling instances where I find myself WISHING I was born yesterday.

Whenever I feel misunderstood, all I want to do is runrunrun back to the architecture. Back to the embrace of the archway, the footholds of the cornerstones, the whisps of smoke from passersby. All I want to do is sleep soundly under fireflies, serenaded by the dwindling traffic, listening to the twitching grass regrouping along my trodden path.

I get these little flashbacks a lot...today's flashback was about the time when I won something on the radio, when I was about 13 but nobody would pick it up for me and it made me feel unimportant. It's interesting, the way success is gauged. Some follow the belief that a lucrative career determines success.
