sure it's been pondered over millions of times already, but I'm doing it once more!
Drawing some recent canon art has given me a lot of thoughts and re-thoughts on clothes, fashion and style in the HP Wizarding World.

I was convinced of the same thing (re: the wizard in GoF) as well until I recalled several cases where JKR mentions adult, very wizardly wizards dressing in pants. I don't think Fudge was the only case. But I like to think that wizards have a choice - pants aren't necessary, but it is a viable option. Maybe the more pureblood a wizard is, the less inclined he/she is to dabble in Muggleish outfits? :D
