I attend a smallish international church in Korea that has a big focus on missions. Every spring the church takes a group of about 10 people to a remote village in the Philippines to a tribe of people called Tobogowan. Oh my gosh... Just a year later and another friend and Elementary Education major who graduated with me in 1999 died in October. Sandy and her husband, David, died November 2004, and now this... This is too weird, strange, and sad.

There was a school shooting at the high school just down from my primary school today. ^_^ Thankfully, the gunman missed his targets. My school had already had a pre-planned Code Red drill, but because of this, we went on lockdown -- where no one leaves the building. Crazy ( Read more... )
