I am beginning to work my way through your stories and I'm so blown away by your writing I thought I better take the time to actually, yknow, *tell* you.
The way you write Jason and Bruce...OH MY HEART. You manage to capture the twisted, obsessive, tragic romance of them, and stay perfectly in character, which is remarkable. They just feel so alive, so *real* to me. At the end of this story I felt so moved I was actually a bit teary.
I also *adored* Good Guys Don't Wear White. The morse code scene, with the blowjob? I loved it so much I had to read it three times before I could continue reading the rest of the story. WOW.
Thank you so much for letting me know you're reading these -- *especially* this one & "Good Guys", since they're among the ones I'm proudest of. As much as I love Bart & Dick & Tim, there's certainly something about Bruce/Jason that hooked me *deep*.
Oh, god, how had I not ever seen this before!?! O_O *gapes* This... THIS!! I am completely blown away by this. I... gods, I love *everything* about this fic. Your Jason is so... *energetic*. Just full of potential and power and rage and lust and is just *marvelous*! I *adore* the way Bruce and Jay's 'relationship' seems to mirror the whole class argument. And the prose! This is so rich with imagery, I feel like I was in the room with them the whole time.
Excuse me a second while I clean the keyboard - my brain appears to have melted and dribbled out of my ears. That was amazing, so dark and painful and real.
