When Godric appeared in the doorway to the kitchen, he looked remarkably like a lost, tattooed teenager. Certainly no older than Rogue, not extraordinarily inhuman looking amongst a mansion of mutants. He had wandered the school grounds the previous night, but taken his time to choose his approach. One couldn't be certain how long this particular endeavor might take, or how smoothly it might go. She was easy to find. Like tracking the scent of bread to an oven.

He blinked at the students, then took the few steps to the side of one imparticular.

"Rogue." Abrupt, straightforward.

Her back was to the door, but it was unmistakably her. Even without her telltale platinum streaks. His sudden presence startled her. Dropping the knife, she cursed. A few of the kids looked up and smiled before going back to what they were doing.

"Jesus, Godric. How'd ya even get in here?" She asked, still recovering with a hand on her chest.

"I did not break anything."

That's reassuring.

"I need to speak with you. In regards to my goading of your ability."

Godric takes a step back, leaving her room to lead the way out of the kitchen, if she gets his point. Or if she even accepts speaking in private.

"Well that's good." How else was she supposed to respond?

Oh. Rogue looked at the younger kids, and then back to Godric. She nodded slowly and put the fruit back in the refrigerator. She wasn't sure what they had to talk about with him running away like that, but he came to see her.

She led him to an abandoned classroom and then looked back at him. "Ya left. That was awfully rude'a ya. I have half'a mind to not let ya talk."
