I just spent 7 hours chaseing after my super cute, very energetic niece. I was happy to spend time with her but am glad to be back home and am ready to crawl into bed. -
it's a small world
I bumped into Nancy Beatty yesteday when I went to visit parlament .... talk about random. it was pretty cool I recognised her first and she remembered me and we chatted and stuff it was really cool. we both watched question period from the gallery.

I'm all happy inside, I went shopping today at the mall for jeans and was pleasently surprised to find out that I'm down to a size 30 or 31 waist depending on the brand. I am so happy. Happy new year all !!!
I hung out with my family this year and it was a nice relaxing new years. it was awsome and I shared my special chai tea with some irish cream and it was really good and Pam made Eggplant lasagna that was freaking amazing.
we started out watching the fugitive on vhs and then watched Austin Powers on CBC on my homemade antena

holiday shopping
I am feeling like I should have more of my shopping done by now, but alas I don't. I tried yesterday but randomly met a friend at the mall and we hung out and I forgot completely about shopping. Today I'm determined though and will be heading down to the mall shortly.

I just finished makeing some super good oatmeal bars that are extreemly simmilar to the oatmeal to go bars you can buy from vending machienes. Woot!!

So I went to work last night and it wasn't too bad, but everyone seemed a little down in general, that place is starting to get to a lot of people. two people from my shift up and quit last night. nobody blames them for going.
