Okay so on top of all the problems Ruben and I have had with the kids and his mom over the last few weeks, Ruben gets fired today. His boss pulled him into his office and said his 6 month probationary period is over and he has to let Ruben go. He wasn't working up to the "standards" that they expected. Well I just heard from Ruben and the surgery took almost 4 hours but his mom pulled through just fine. The doctor said that she is very strong for her age and shouldn't have any problems with her recovery. ^_^
