Okay so on top of all the problems Ruben and I have had with the kids and his mom over the last few weeks, Ruben gets fired today. His boss pulled him into his office and said his 6 month probationary period is over and he has to let Ruben go. He wasn't working up to the "standards" that they expected. Well I guess I wouldnt' hurt to have her look into it for me. He is smart I dont' doubt he could do the job. I'm just worried about what they would pay him. He was making 13.50. :-(

We are actually not even hiring right now. With what has been going on Lou is in a tight spot and can't really afford anymore employees. If a spot were to open up though, he would only start at $10 an hour as a machine operator. Sorry hun. That really is an awful situtaion. I hope things start to turn around for you soon. I wish I could do more to help.

Michelle! Have him get a resume to me at my email Tasai_yume@Yahoo.com. I'll talk to the HR person here. We are always hiring and if Rueben asks for $12 to start and makes sure he's hired under that.. he may get it. I know this place isn't the best to grow, but it's something, and he can find a higher paying one with experiance from here.

Btw, I believe he can get as high as $12.50 to start. That's the starting pay here supposedly now, but usually they hire you under what you ask for if it's reasonable. As long as he is determained to get it.

From where you are? Well it takes us like 45 min's to get here. Depending on what shift he gets, maybe he can drive to our place in Eldersburg and car pool with us?

yes i currently rent my soul out for 40 hours a week to that place, but atleast the pay is decent ... 12 or 12.50 an hour is a bit better then what most of the places were offering when I was job hunting.
