Cody's specialist doctor told him to set up an appointment with his regular Kaiser doctor because Cody's bloodpressure is still too high. it's been high since the migraines started early this year. His doctor had some blood taken and the results showed that his levels are slightly high for BUN and Creatine. I guess these are toxins that his ( Read more... ) -

Christmas time
Well, it snowed again today and it got me thinkin it might really be the christmas season. And Cody's mom sent us a box of gifts already and i started to panic. Furlough
Well, Cody got a call from the head of his company, the man who hired him. It was a very good conversation basically saying we definately want you on our staff, we want you get better and we want you to be able to focus on that. Here is a cool article about a beautiful "masterpiece" that the Hubble and Spitzer telescopes created. Ball Aerospace had a hand in several of the components for each telescope.

Update
Well, Cody's grandmother passed away today around noon. We have gotten plane tickets to leave on Friday morning and return Monday afternoon. Cody sounds like he's doing okay, but the continuation of yesterday's migraine is not helping. We could definately use prayer over the snow storm that is supposed to hit tonight that it not affect Friday's ( Read more... ) -
Prayer Request for Cody's Grandmother
Cody got a call today from his Dad saying that his Grandmother had a stroke last night. They are still trying to get all the information, but it looks like she might not make it another day. She had a stroke 5 years ago or so that left one side paralyzed and put her in a nursing home, but she'd been doing pretty good till this. Cody has a new ( Read more... ) -
End of the cycle
Well, for the first time in 17 days, Cody woke up without a migraine this morning! Yay! So my hope is that he's finally broken what ever kind of cycle he was in before and now the new diet will help prevent migraines from happening so often. Day 15 - Surrender
