Still unsure what I'm doing for my contemporary literature essay, but thanks for all the comments (see previous post), it has at least encouraged me to think about individual questions and potential arguments rather than looking at the list and going 'ohmygoshicantdoanyofthem'! To all you well read folks out there ...
One of my courses this year is CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE.
I have a 3000 word essay coming up, which has to be written on two or three books published since 2006.
Having been so behind on my uni reading this year, I haven't had a chance to read ANY books for pleasure, so am a bit stumped on what texts to choose for this one.

Things I have learnt this weekend:
1. Surprising your friends is a lot of fun.
2. Work when you've only had four hours sleep is not fun.
3. A drunken self in the same place as a fucked ex boyfriend is a recipe for disaster.
4. There are lots of places and people I can escape to where by not seeing him it hurts less. -
And another thing...
I have just got an extension for two of my essays until the SEVENTEENTH of JANUARY.
I officially rock. -
