Jiggity-jig.
Yesterday, I woke Vinny up at 6am, in tears. My gallbladder decided not to wait until December.
I went in for surgery around 2:30pm and I was discharged at about 3 today. wild, yeah?
Percoset is my friend, but I'm likely out of touch for a few days. I'm good. Feeling way better than before surgery.

most people - such as yourself, normal people - have one or
two arteries leading to their gall bladder. that's it, one or
two - not a rough guesstimate but a medical certainty. Me? FIVE.
Hearing just how short your stay was makes me very relieved for you.

V's mom was one of those folks, so when she was showing a 20% Ejection Fraction, those freakish tiny vessels easily saved her life. I'm all in favor of medical freakism, even when it makes for rougher surgeries and shocked surgeons. :-D

hope I am! & yes, the Hubby (tm) told me that the surgeon
was not just shocked but exhausted when he finally was done.
