I will write a letter. Our Sam's is due up for expiration and we were considering going back to Costco. Not anymore.

I'm in, my LJ name at sff.net will reach me.

I think she should also contact the local TV station consumer folks, that's the kind of story they'd get a lot of mileage from.

Best of luck to your friend.

How does a brand new bed have bedbugs? Are they absolutely sure they came in with the bed?

she's pretty sure. THey didn't have bed bugs. they got a new bed. they have bed bugs.

the rash occurred within two weeks of getting the new mattress.

drop off/take away services end up with old mattresses and new mattresses on the same truck, ya know.

Pretty sure if the bugs came from costco, whether from their store or on their truck, then they ARE responsible. And a lawyer may say so too.

If it was a third party hauler, recommended by costco, they may not be responsible, but if it was their truck, they are.
