Speak for yourself, man!

When are you going to update about killing people in Amtgard?

I've watched your YouTube videos a few times and the only ones that I could follow are the five second clips, wherein you beat someone handily at swords or leg wrestling.

I tend to keep my Amtgard related posts on the Amtgard website I run with some copy pasta to LiveJournal, MySpace, and Deviant Art as appropriate. I also haven't done a whole lot of posts lately because I'm busy writing a crap ton of private stuff for an Amtgard event in September.

Interested in camping for a weekend and playing an NPC?

Do I get to be a scullery wench?

When and where? What should I bring?

I gotta request it off, but it sounds like fun, and I'm all for it.

I also will stay up half (or all) the night just to finish a book I'm into. I also discovered something equally bad. A few times, I have exercised incredible self-control by putting down the book and going to bed and a normal hour...only to lie awake for a large portion of the night thinking about the book. So now I just read the book all night.

Personally, I get a sort of energy high when it comes to reading an awesome book. If it's like heroic fantasy or something, I totally get jazzed and jam through the day, pretending I'm the hero...

...Just kidding(notreally)?

What books have made you stay up, burning the midnight oil?

I adore fantasy in a general sense, but most fantasy novels do indeed seem very...banal. While, at the same time, throwing out so many names of places, items, and people that taking notes during the course of reading seems to be a necessity.

It's why I tend towards more....I don't know, modern dark fantasy? Neil Gaiman, and the like. The generic fantasy realm stuff doesn't interest me anymore.

I haven't read S&S, and I am finding that most scifi is losing ground with me, because I see so many themes mirroring each other. Perhaps I should give it a shot. I haven't thought to check livejournal in a long time. I am glad to see you are still alive. Are you aware my child is born? I have pictures on myspace.

NO WAY!

Going now.

Congratulations, you're a Dad!

I didn't know. I'm sorry that I wasn't there to give you a cigar, but I'm happy I know now!

I can't find it!

I reformated my computer, and I don't have my links anymore, and I don't have it written down anywhere.

I checked your userinfo on LJ, couldn't find a link, and I did a search on your souldance email, and found nothing.

Mind sending me a link?
