Would you guys please post your top five (or ten) movies? They can be a mixture of comedy, horror, drama, etc. I need something interesting and nonlame to watch. Thanks!

One you may not have seen is Memento. Good stuff.

I believe I've seen that, but I'll have to see the movie case to remember. Thanks!

How are you settling in? I'm sorry I couldn't help you move, but if you're in town, please mention so on LJ so I can say hi. :)

1. Dune (David Lynch version)
2. Ferris Buellers day off
3. Office Space
4. The entire Kevin Smith series (Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike back)

I don't watch a lot of movies. Those are the ones I like:)

Katte! You're alive! Thanks for your movie ideas. I LOVE Dune, one I wouldn't mind seeing again. And I was just talking about Ferris Buellers Day Off a couple od days ago. I adore Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob, all of those. Some I haven't seen in a while and will revisit them. :)

Forbidden Zone (The richard elfman movie, not the softcore porn...)

Final Fantasy Advent Children

Pi

Well, I was going to say the lord of the rings trilogy, but you are the queen of them... lol

I know it is not a movie, but The Young ones (every stoopid episode)

I'm with Katte in the Dune idea. Great movie there.

Thanks, Ben! I remember you mentioning the Forbidden Zone, so I will definitely look for that at the movie store. What's Pi? Is that like 3.14, circumference formula? Ha!

And yes, I am the queen of LOTR! Or I'd like to think so anyway. Hehehe.

I hope you are doing well. Hope to see you again soon! :)

PI is an amazing film by the same guy that did Requiem for a dream (also would recommend that)although Requiem is a bit...of a downer, and some people really were sick afterward

I know my first reply told you nothing about the film heh..its about a man who is obsessed with finding the formula within PI because he believes it will help him to predict the stock market (I know sounds boring)..but along the way he somehow figures out the name of god

A Nightmare on Elm St...Still my favorite horror movie ever

Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps back...Two of the best Werewolf movies I have EVER seen

Cabin Fever...Really really gross but I loved it

Thirteen...not horror at all per say...This movie has some of the most subtle and best Cinematography I have seen in a long long time...I liked this movie so much I made Skye watch it right after I did..Since then I have probably seen in 3-4 times (which is a lot for me)

Manic...an IFC film so it might be a bit hard to find...Don Cheadle and Joseph Gordon Leavitt (3rd rock from the sun)

I second Memento if you havent seen that..

I cant think of more but if you give me some time I could come up with a good list for you.

Ginger Snaps...those are good cookies and it makes me think of Hansel and Gretel. But I TRUST your movie taste, so one of these movie nights I will watch them. Nightmare on Elm Street STILL scares the crap out of me! After all these years...

Who plays in Thirteen? I've never heard of that one. I haven't heard of Manic either, but I like watching new and especially obscure films.

Thanks for your list! You're welcome to add to it as well.
