Venison Roast with red wine sauce, mash potatoes and steamed mixed veg. Waiting for all to cook. The sun is still out. There are people sailing home on the harbor. And the laundry is done. I love spring.

I've been thinking about going to nursing school. Slight problem; they need my transcript from Oberlin. I sent in the forms and had to wait for the Registrar to send them back me. Not much going on here. The craft room is finally set up. So now I can start making pretty things. I'm thinking of going back to school for a nursing degree. Wont make the final decision until I take a few science classes. I have forgotten so much. And I'm making Drider watch the extended editions of Lord of the Rings with me. Ok. So... stuff has been shipped to NZ. Very nerve racking experience. Had it out with Mother, Brother & Sister. Things are a bit better. Will be back home in NZ by Wednesday. Yippy!!!

I'm afraid it's true but I have truly gone to the Darkside. I have embraced my inner Geek with a vengeance. I know play Dungeons & Dragons, paint my own miniatures, read internet comics, talk computers and physics with really smart people and worst of all I know analyze movie characters according to gaming stats. My grandmother isn't doing so well. She fell and broke her hip almost 2 weeks ago. The doctors were able to repair her hip but the she started to have problems with her heart. Then she had gallstones that were giving her pancreatitis. But, now her kidneys are starting to fail ( Read more... )
