Wow, I acted like a real idiot last night. Remind me to never drink alcohol again. I don't think there's anything I enjoy less than not being in control of myself.
I'm actually kind of glad that happened. A few days ago, I wanted "freedom" from my will, which was becoming chillier than ice. Well, I got freedom from my will alright. But being drunk made me realize that a man is either a slave to his will, or a slave to something else (much akin to St. Paul's slave-to-sin-or-righteous dichotomy). Being separated from my will for some time made me understand how crucial keeping my will is for me.
It's like being in a blizzard for so long, thinking that you would be better off without your gloves. But as soon as you take them off, you understand what it means to be without them. So you put them on again and feel closer to them than ever before.
Haha, the only reason why I know you didn't make that story up was because my cell phone records have your name on them. David actually yanked my cell phone away from me, lest I do something really regrettable!
