...it's how bloody psychopathic they tend to make me feel once I'm actually aware of them. While I can usually tell when my glucose-level is high even without checking, I generally just feel lethargic, slow-in-thought, and merely prone to irritability...but the moment I see the official number from my meter, and then it's like some raving maniacal ( Read more... )

Yup, my blood pressure is acting in a similar way nowadays. I've got two sorts of pills to control it, but once I'm stressed I could just as well swallow down a whole bottle of placebos. Same effect. :-P

Thank you. They always go down...eventually... once I've given myself a correcting bolus, and fortunately the anger issues go away as soon as they do. I'm glad they aren't like this all the time, but the inability to really understand where the spikes are coming from is very very annoying. :-/

Sorry to hear you're having blood-pressure problems. :-( I've at least been lucky in that regard.
