And yeah, it's a bit rambly and disjointed, the way I've written this, but something wanted me to get it out before I went to sleep, and I'm in rather a hurry to get to sleep because I am A-class fucking tired, friends.
Maybe I'll try to clean it up into something a bit more cogent later on.
Or maybe not.
Crikey, people. Just live. Don't let the ass-pirates get you down! Because they'll never be able to keep you down for long if you just keep looking outside your window. If you feel trapped, cut open a hole in your box and remind yourself that you're still ALIVE, and if you have to be a little vicarious with your living then all the moaning and puling won't reaslly change that fact. Just do it anyway, and be patient. Wheel of Fortune is ALWAYS spinning.
I thought you were very cogent. 'Enthralling' is a great word for it.
What's got me through the Bad Times, and I mean this with utter sincerity, is that I've wanted to find out what happens next. I think that Fear and Greed are merely fixed expectations, habitual attempts to keep the Wheel from turning, attempts which keep us blind. If we can keep ourselves receptive to whatever happens, it'll be more than we could possibly imagine.
I also suspect that tiredness is like drunkenness: a means to trick one's internal editor into letting its guard down, into letting us express our true selves.

*huggles*
Amen, sister. I gather you haven't been sleeping all that well yourself these days?
It's ironic that I can have such hope and wonder for Life and yet I continue to be a nearly intractable shut-in. People have to really try hard to get me to leave the flat for reasons other than necessary ones like laundry and groceries. It's an on-going battle. I feel like Leos weren't really designed to be anti-social like I am, but the urge to stay in my safe little shell is pretty overpowering.
Thank Goddess for the Internet and a broadband connection. At least I can have SOME degree of exposure to the World Outside this way. Plus the Web itself is its own kind of spiffy advenbture o' discovery!
