We've entered my favorite season of the year. Cool weather and hoodies! Parades and community festivals! Pies and ham! I love when the weather gets cold enough that you can keep your beer outside when you have a bonfire. -

My mom and dad are going out of town for their anniversary next week, and I'm covering house, dog, and chicken watching duties for most of the time they are gone. It's time to crank up the ol' fire pit behind my house. I have a newish neighbor whose place is right on the fire pit area, so I'm curious to see if he's okay with it or if it becomes an issue. That would be a damn shame.
