Germany through the eyes of an American.
The longer I stay in Berlin the more I become immune to the difference between here and America. So I thought it would be a good idea to take pictures of my daily activities in addition to sharing my views, opinions and experiences in Deutschland.

This is a nifty post idea!

I think the thing about elevators has more to do with the age of the buildings (we Southerners can thank Sherman for our lack of historic buildings) than anything else. Here in CT very few apartment buildings have elevators either.

Really? I didn't know that. It seems that elevators are automatic in buildings with more than 3 floors in DC and Maryland area too. I have some free time so I'll be uploading some new pics today.
