I bet I'm one of the few people you know who would ask an employer to NOT give them a full time job with an awesome salary and benefits, and instead ask for a seasonal position with a much lower rate of pay (although still amazing, considering the field) and no benefits.

I have an overwhelming urge to go to this. Advance tickets are only $22, which is an awesome deal for that much music. But I don't have anyone to go with. Which doesn't always stop me, but this is pretty much a full day event, and I would get bored of not talking to anyone for a whole day. Another amazing summer is in full swing. Three weeks of camp down, six more to go, and I'm loving every minute. Except for the seriously ill camper we had this past week and all the hell which resulted from that.

It's been a lot time coming, but I'm finally home. I spent two weeks bored out of my mind at home with my parents (although it was good to see them again, a few days is all I can really stomach anymore unless there's something going on, which there hardly ever is), before making the drive out to Chicago to spend the weekend with friends before ( Read more... ) -

Well, this is it.
Tomorrow I'm taking a bus up to Auckland, and then Monday morning I'm leaving New Zealand.
Mixed emotions doesn't begin to cover it.
I've spent nine months of my life here. Working, playing, traveling, trying new things, laughing, crying, mourning
