Random question for you. After my hard drive was wiped, a random folder appeared on my C: drive titled something like 'a04eb...' with nothing in it other than a txt file titled 'temp%xsml...'. I can delete it without killing my compy, can't I? Its randomness is bugging me. =D
I have one myself and I would just recommend leaving it there--it looks like a log of some sort from either the OS or a MS installation/update and although it probably won't kill anything to delete it out, you might end up with some funky error someday because it's not there...
Sort of like when Mike looked up PCHealth, read it was a Malware or Trojan and didn't realize that much of the Windows installed programs are considered stuff. So when he uninstalled it, things like--oh Help & Support stopped working, among other things. Took me researching how to get it back for about an hour before he was good again. LOL
I ignore my folder, it's easier that way otherwise I'd be itching to hit that ol' delete button myself. =)
