[total fail lock, she's still rather off] posted the day after the wedding

Can't believe I'm that sort of drunk, how embarrassing, crying like a stupid child over nothing. And then I got so sick, ugh, at least there were few people there.

And Setsuna had to go and take care of me, so lame. Maybe it's better that I only remember some of it or else it would be even more embarrassing. I guess maybe I should say sorry to ( Read more... )

I suspect she's learned a lesson well enough without a talking to.

She's still getting one. Someone could've hurt her.

I don't think I will anyway. It'd be a bit hypocritical considering I got myself smashed a few times when I was fourteen.

Luckily, she managed to avoid that.

Somehow I'm not surprised you started even earlier than she did.

Very lucky.

She's a good girl. Gets into less trouble than I did as a kid, ironically. It's funny! I was actually planning on sitting down to have a drink with her when she turned sixteen, but she already beat me to the whole 'first drink' thing and I can't even pretend I don't know about it.

She doesn't tend to wait for people to introduce her to things. She's generally perfectly happy to grab them herself whenever she wants.

So, I've noticed! I think it's pretty refreshing. Most girls my her age usually only care about clothes and shopping and getting a good-looking fellow to look their way.

She's certainly incredibly unique.

Too bad her own parents don't notice. How long we've been in Japan and I've seen them only once?! It's mad!

She's said she doesn't mind, but I can't imagine it's particularly easy.

If I see them again I'm probably going to wind up yelling at them about it!

Where are your parents anyway? I don't think I've heard you even mention them.

Mm, I had to move down here on my own when I was given the job of watching over Suzumiya-san. Don't mention it to her, though, the story I give at school is that they're overseas.

I don't think it'd come up.

Why couldn't your parents come with you?

Well, it's the story I give out on the community, as well.

"Mom and Dad, I have psychic powers and we need to move five hundred miles away next week." Somehow I don't think that would go over very well.

So they don't even know? What do they think you're doing here, then?

They don't know where I am.

So, as far as your parents are concerned, you just upped and disappeared?!
