Can't believe I'm that sort of drunk, how embarrassing, crying like a stupid child over nothing. And then I got so sick, ugh, at least there were few people there.

And Setsuna had to go and take care of me, so lame. Maybe it's better that I only remember some of it or else it would be even more embarrassing. I guess maybe I should say sorry to ( Read more... )

I suspect she's learned a lesson well enough without a talking to.

When Haruhi's better, you're getting on this TARDIS and we're going to see your parents.

What exactly would that accomplish?

So they stop worrying and wondering if their son's ran away or been kidnapped!

And then I'd have to go back. If I see them, I can't stay here, and I need to stay here.

Can't you even write them or phone them or something? Use some excuse like you really wanted to go to school out here or something! What happens if they get the police involved with your disappearance? Or ask questions? What if they manage to find you?

I've been gone for around a year by now. I'm fairly sure I've been declared legally missing, the police have been involved. Trust me, I'm very well-hidden.

...And to be honest, I doubt they were surprised. With all the time I spent out of the house at odd hours fighting closed space, they were convinced I'd fallen in with a gang.

A year?! This has been going on for a year?! Have you at least sent them a note letting them know you're still alive?!

It would be an invitation for them to search even harder. In any case, I did take quite a lot of my possessions with me, so it's clear it wasn't a kidnapping or murder.

That doesn't tell them you're all right! If my child told me he was all right and he was still in school and he would let us know how he was doing, I wouldn't try harder searching. Just knowing you're all right would likely be enough for them!

It wouldn't. Not for them. Believe me, I'd like to let them know, but I can't. Not know.

Oi! Why not now? When could you? Do you plan on doing this sort of thing forever? Isn't there anything you want to do outside of this whole mess?

...Unfortunately, that's a little out of my hands, isn't it.
