Since an update on what has been happening would a) take ages to write, b) bore you all to tears and skimming and c) force me to try to remember past yesterday, I'm going to take pity on us all and be disjointed ( Read more... )

Our Molly organiser and our dance-out organiser don't exactly see eye-to-eye,

You've noticed that too?

It's a bit surprising we elected them both, because they didn't see eye-to-eye before they were doing there respective things. Or maybe I just noticed it more, having to hear how evil Emma was all the time...

Emma sticks Rachel in a car with people she hates

You mean there are actually people that she likes?

Needless to say, I wasn't particularly dissappointed to have missed that car journey down to London.

Anyway, shall stop bitching about evil ex's now before I get carried away...

I'm feeling inordinately smug - I didn't elect either of them, as I was out of the country for the AGM. Not that I wouldn't have (although I would have bitched, most likely, about the potential for trouble, as they both have personality conflicts with more than each other), but I can truthfully say that we'll never know. *smug - and pissed off*

You mean there are actually people that she likes?

I'm not sure that "likes" is the appropriate word - she mopes when certain people are out of immediate sight, but that's not really the same...

Heh. Evil ex's are a true bitch's delight.;-)

I didn't elect either of them

Well, I was out of the room when Emma was being elected (being the other candidate) and as for Rachel saying anything against her being dance out organiser whilst I was still going out with her would quite frankly have been dangerous!

Yes, but I was hoping to get to bed at some point tonight...

I didn't even know there were two candidates for organiser... I think I may have vaguely noted the results, shrugged, and jumped out of a plane the same day. ;-)

Seriously though (although the timing's right for skydiving to actually have taken place) - at that point, I knew that Rachel and Emma didn't get on, Emma puts a lot of people off by dictating sometimes rather than asking, Rachel has an amazing ability to foster not-sympathy upon occasion, Andrew can't oppose Emma, and more. How many personality conflicts can we incorporate into one AGM, people?

Yes, but I was hoping to get to bed at some point tonight...

Bed?! Bed is for wimps! And people who are finally on holidays after a 12-week term. And on that note, mine is beckoning rather frantically.
But the subject will keep, and, I'm sure, be revisited at some point soon.

If you have been playing WoW may I ask why we haven't seen you yet? :-)

Are you on our server (Emerald Dream) or have you started on a different one?

Er, because I've been keeping very quiet as I attempted to figure out this complicated thing? (And dying messily any number of times, but let's not go into that...) Not to mention that I still don't get the communicating aspect of the game. By the time I remember how to say something, the person I want to thank is long gone. *headdesk*

What name(s) should I be looking for?

And yes, I am on Emerald Dream. I didn't want to disregard the very clear instructions damia1 gave me! ;-)

By the way, how are you?
