Well, I'm back from Mauritius - I love that place. We go there approximately every two years, and I never want to leave. Relaxation made obligatory. And I got to swim every day, and play mini-golf sometimes, confirming my belief that I have absolutely no talent, and I also got to have nice cocktails, and read lots and lots and lots... Why is it that, as soon as I finish the latest bunch of visits to assorted doctors and hospitals, I fall ill? Things seem to be conspiring to keep the beginning of my holidays entirely not-fun. And in keeping with this conspiracy, I am not-amused.

Graduation was fun. Lots of really stupid things done in the name of tradition and ritual - you wouldn't think there would be so much pomp and ceremony simply to award BA degrees, would you?
