i think this is good. it is much more eloquent in your series, which seem to speak much about the duality of the individual verses societal constraints--the guilt, the resentment, and the alienation that comes forth. and i've always favored the two-line rhyme verses. it's a nice balance of control and uncontrol.
do you spent time reading on theory and philosophy? the two has been an indispensable force into shaping and improving my work (writing, photography...anything artisticaly applied). i wouldn't be where i am right now with out it. if you are interested i have a suffienct reading list, as well as a few papers that i've written on the subjects. interested?
Actually, my favorite reading is philosophical/theoretical, well, existentialist lit for the most part..I've read a lot of Nietzsche, Dostoyevsky and Hesse as well as More, Hawkings, Einstein and others I can't call to mind right now...ya know, same ol' stuff..and thanks a lot, I'm quite interested in your reading list and your papers, send them my way if you so desire, I'd really appreciate that
this is great! i didn't get started on the philsophical until much later. if you like Nietzsche, you may like Foucault...even love. he is without a doubt my fav on post-modern thinkers. i have a layman's understanding on him and well as several other French Philos; i am by no means an expert...not even close, but under interesting circumstances i have written some primers on them. they are quite lengthy for posts, but i can email them in word doc format to you if desired.
