Once again life eludes me...
I'm so unmotivated lately. I feel like I'm trapped in limbo because of the whole kidney failure ordeal. Before it happened my life, our life, was moving forward. We were going to start looking into our options for having children, maybe travel some more before we decided to settle down, I was debating going back to school even. Then it happened. So my ten year high school reunion came and went, I did not go. I was at dialysis during the majority of it. I can't say I really wanted to go either, I didn't feel like hanging around a bunch of people who never even so much as talked to me. Half a Century
Wow. My mom has lived half a century. I never thought of my mom as being old, in fact I still think of her as being quite young. You know they say fifty is the new thirty now, lol. Long time no see
Feh, not much to report. Same ole grind every day. No transplant to speak of for at least two years. I don't know why but I've been obsessed with French Bulldogs lately, I know a third dog would be quite a dramatic change, especially when I'm having a hard time with with the two we have already. You know how they say there's good news and there's bad news? Well I just got some news that's not so much good nor is it so much bad. So the kidney they took out had a massive tumor on it, in fact it was almost bigger than the kidney itself. I got the most exciting call on Friday, I have potential donor!! I'm trying not to get too excited because I don't want to get my hopes up if their blood sample doesn't pass the testing. I had to go in Saturday morning to get my blood drawn because they need a sample within the same time the potential donor goes in for their blood work, which is ( Read more... )
