This weekend I did something I've never done before: I made a homemade cake, not even from a box! Not only did I make a homemade cake, I made a homemade CARROT CAKE! Plus, I made the frosting from scratch, too!

I find this to be a fascinating statement.

Well, today we went and looked at those 4 houses...the first 2 were total fixer-uppers, but the second two were super great, with lots of potential, but only one of them seems like a great, lively neighborhood for ministry.  We don't want to make double payments though, if we don't have to, so we plan on waiting till the end of the month to do ( Read more... )

We drove by 14 houses today, and we narrowed it down to 4 that we're going to all go look at with our realtor next saturday!  We're pretty darn excited!  We could be buying a house pretty soon!

All last week I was volunteering at a kids sports day camp that my housemate Danny was running.  I did administrative stuff, because I am in no way athletic.  Anyway, it was awesome.  28 kids stepped forward to accept Jesus!  Hooray!
