I've kept making excuses to not do one of the things that my heart desires most.  Why in the world would I make excuses to get out of doing what my heart desires?

Andrew and Natalie came to visit a couple weeks ago.  We went and camped the Grand Canyon, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!  We also went to the Phoenix Zoo.  It was a good time, to be sure.

I found this wonderful little website called www.snacksby.com!  You can enter in all the random food you have lying around the house or whatever, and it comes up with a ton of recipes you can make with what you've got!  it's a really new site, though, so new recipes are being added every day.  But yeah, it's pretty great.  It'll also tell you ( Read more... )

I'm really upset, because I was going to eat some yummy pasta before I left for work, and I just dumped THE ENTIRE BOWL of pasta ON THE FLOOR!  GRRRRR!!!!  Now I have to go hungry all day until dinner, because now I have to leave for work.

grr...that's what my stomach is saying, too!

This weekend Lisa and Hayden are coming to visit...tomorrow, actually!  I'm super excited, except for one thing that it means:

cleaning.

who the heck calls someone at 4am, and doesn't leave a message?!  Okay, the only thing I can think of is that it had to be one of those darn telemarketers on the east coast, so they apparently did not realize how rude it would be to call someone at that time of day on the west coast.  grr.

I've really gone full-speed with this hobby of mine: cooking.  I love not being in school, partly because there's time for cooking!  crockpots are amazing, I'm realizing because you can make cheap food with them, and it only takes like 10 minutes usually to prepare, and then you come home from work and the house smells super yummy and dinner's ( Read more... )

Well, today I applied for two different jobs.  One was at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Mesa to be a "staff support," and the other was also in Mesa, and it was at Frontiers, which is a missions organization that focuses on reaching muslims in other countries.  I'm not sure what the position would be there, because the one I was applying for ( Read more... )
