Yep.  We actually, really and truly, in big-people church, had a sermon this morning on the passage in Matthew where Jesus says to deny ourselves, pick up our crosses, and follow him.  I couldn't believe it.  Intervarsity talks about this all the time...but I've never in my life heard a sermon at a real church on this.  It made my day.  It made me ( Read more... )

Yes.  That's right.  I've already worked about 28 hours since monday...two of those three shifts being at 4 AM!!!!  *heavy sigh*  I am now working more than 40 hours total this week.  I went from 20-25 hours at my old store to 40+ hours at my new store!  It's bittersweet.  I like having the additional income and tips, however *heavy sigh* I'm not ( Read more... )
